This is the place where families and others will feel at ease!

The Planet windsurfing Center Kos is situated on the beautiful, mileswide sandy beach on the North coast of the island in Marmari, next to the family-friendly 4* Grecotel Royal Park.

By a 50 meters long sandbank with a quite low depth and 2-4 Bft there are optimum conditions for beginners and intermediates. In the afternoon often thermical reinforcements increase the wind to 3-5 Bft coming from west (sideshore), ideal to learn new moves. Whether with the kite or with the windsurf, everybody will have his pleasure!

The North wind Meltemi known from the Aegean Sea, which is side-onshore from the right, also blows to Kos with 6-7 Bft. He comes at irregular intervals and can give us up to five days to enjoy. With the two offshore islands Kalimnos and Pserimos the Center and its spot are located in this nozzle and belong to one of the windiest areas of the island. The Meltemi days make every surfer’s heart miss a beat! According to the windforce waves can reach 1,7m height outside, that means ramps for jumping. The shorebreak it’s easy to pass for experienced surfers.

Of course top Fanatic and North Sails equipment is waiting for you, whereof the sails are provided by up to 75% carbon and also skinny masts.

Attention dear surf-fanatic fathers, by presenting the windsurfing licence your kids and women from the Grecotel Royal Park can use the school equipment free of charge!

What characterizes the station under the direction of Dominique and Nadine in particular, is the individual support and the amicable atmosphere – small but nice.

Together with the white sandy beach the island which is high in archaeology, offers a lot of culinary delights and places of interest that can be discovered by bike, rental car or by feet. Like for example the beautiful mountain scenery, hot springs, memorable sunsets and certainly hot party nights in Kos town or Kardamena.
