El Yaque - South American flair with a hint of the Caribbean

Merengue, BBQs, South American style and a subtle Caribbean flavour entice you to an unforgettable vacation. In El Yaque, originally a small fishing village on the island of Margarita, you will be entranced by the warmth of the Venezuelans. And your breath will be further taken away by the Passat wind, which blows almost daily sideshore from the left along the beach. This freshens around Siesta time by up to another Bft 2 to reach Bft 4 to 7. Here, you can play to your heart's content whether you are a first timer or a freestyle guru and there are no limits to what you can learn under the leadership of World Cup sailors like André Paskowski (G-2) and Yoli De Brendt (V-26).

Our well known Windsurf- and Kitecenter is located in the middle of the Caribbean white sandy beach of El Yaque. Due to the perfect location on the beach, you can start with your windsurfboard right in front of our center. For kitesurfing it´s just a short walk along the beach upwind where you can launch, land and train the hole day in the kitearea. Before 9:30 am and after 5:30 pm you can kitesurf in front of the center, during the day you have to stay away about 500 m from the coast. The center is equipped with the newest material of our partners North Kiteboarding, Fanatic and North Sails and the experienced kite and windsurfingteam around Yoli and Wim offers Kitesurfing and Windsurfing of the first class. After your surf- and kitesession you can join a beach volleyball session or relax with a sundowner at the water´s edge. Enjoy El Yaque and you enjoy life.
