El Naaba

30km south of Marsa Alam airport and 30km north of Marsa Alam town, you find an excellent surf and kite spot and in the same time a very quiet and beautiful beach, El Nabaa. If you like to enjoy surfing in pure nature, far from mass tourism, El Nabaa is the right place for you. The wind is blowing sideshore from left, starts in the morning, is strongest around lunch time, and drops in the afternoon. In the sandy bay the water is flat and in the first 10m it is shallow. Outside of the bay in the open sea there are wonderful waves.

The surfcenter is at only 20m distance from the water and is equipped with newest Fanatic boards and North Sails. Hotel Equinox, just on the spot, is lying on a small hill from where you have a fantastic view over the sea. Especially the location of the restaurant is spectacular, on one side you can overview the entire bay, and on the other side the magic hills of the desert. Directly in front of the hotel you can go snorkeling or diving and explore the unique marine life with his turtles and dudong. El Nabaa is one of the best destinations for snorkeling and diving since it has 3 untouched coral reefs.
